what is the difference?

die-cut decals are cut out of a sheet of vinyl. the decal has a piece of transparent tape put on top of it for application. they are usually only one or two colors as multiple colors will multiply the price. an example of a finished die-cut decal and applying it below.

label stickers are simply printed stickers with adhesive backing. they are cheaper to make but are not as resistant to the weather and don't have the same clean appearance as die-cuts. die-cut decals are a much more popular alternative to the common bumper sticker look.
